Community in a Crisis Survey

Community in a Crisis is an initiative that has been set up as a response to the pandemic. We’re passionate about relational church online. Through lockdown we’ve been helping hundreds of churches get set up online through training events, blog posts and videos. The initiative was setup by Nay Dawson with the endorsement of IFES-Europe in service of the local church.

We would like to find out what the experience of online church has been across Europe so we are conducting a Church online experience survey.

We’d like to find out what the experience of church has been like for guests, members and leaders. Our survey will be shared across Europe and our hope is that we can learn lessons from lockdown that will shape the future of the church.

The purpose of the survey is to help churches understand how they can best serve their congregations and visitors. It is anticipated that, in some countries, restrictions may persist for some time. These insights will also help church leaders to make decisions about routes out of lockdown which will best serve the needs of their congregations and visitor as restrictions are partially lifted.

The survey is anonymous and the data will not be shared beyond the Survey team.  Survey results will be published only in aggregated form where individual respondents cannot be identified.
