Coronavirus Prayers

Dear All,
O God our help in ages past – our hope for years to come!
As we enter into a new phase of the coronavirus pandemic, we have created a landing page on our website to help people easily find helpful resources. See sohop.org/pray
The hymn by Isaac Watts is especially pertinent and friends have already been comforted by the words of hope and faith. We have a prayer sheet that can be printed out for our friends who are not on social media – please consider using this. It includes all of “O God our help in ages past”. I believe this could be very significant for older members of our communities.
We also have a virtual prayer room. We are providing this as a way to keep watch for our city as the family of God together and maintain a sense of being connected together. All are welcome to join, whether you are new to prayer, or have been walking with Jesus for many years. We are encouraging people to sign up for an hour as an individual or household and to add their location when they sign up: e.g. “Chrissie - Sholing”. 24-7 Prayer have produced an excellent help sheet for an hour of prayer - see that here!
Under the shadow of His throne, we may still dwell secure!
Grace and peace to you all,
Richard and Kathy
