At The King’s School, our ethos revolves around Luke 2:52 “And Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man.”. As a result our school’s teaching and discipleship encourages ‘Wisdom’ through a distinctive curriculum delivering the national curriculum in a Christian context with a high emphasis on independent and creative thinking. We encourage ‘Stature’ of heart, soul, mind and strength with a range of extracurricular activities  aiming to develop pupils’ ability to work in teams, encourage independence and confidence in preparation for adult life. Finally, we encourage ‘Favour’, living a life holy and pleasing to God, through exciting assemblies full of worship, testimony, prayer and teaching about God, encouraging pupils to experience the presence of God for themselves.

Our class sizes range from 7 to 21 which enables our staff to know each student individually and encourages a wonderful family atmosphere at the School. We believe in childhood and that it is something God wants to re-establish as the norm for all children; that they grow up in His way, in His time.
Our School also offers a huge range of extracurricular activities from our annual trips to Rwanda, working with victims of the genocide and preaching the gospel, to regular visits to and from Poland, supporting a new Christian School out there, and even Ski trips. We also have annual productions, camps, trips and concerts, and a host of clubs and other activities like the Duke of Edinburgh award.
We hope you will come to visit us soon and see for yourself!
