Community Coffee Shop Co-ordinator (Job share)

Salary: £20,000 - £21,000 pro rata (depending on experience) 
Hours: 32 hours a week

This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with the SO14 Community Hub
Leader to develop how we at New Community (based at Central Hall) can serve
and support our local communities, showing hospitality and creating
connection as a “busy hive of positive ideals with Christ at the centre”. The
coffee shop will be a key part of establishing and expressing this vision,
providing a warm welcome to those arriving at Central Hall for Community Hub
activities, as well as hosting community groups and providing a coffee shop
service to both other building users and our local community. 
We’re looking for someone who is passionate about showing hospitality (serving
good coffee and other refreshments) and giving a warm welcome - as well as
helping people find a place of belonging and develop skills and confidence
through volunteering or connecting in with Hub Activities. We’re looking for
someone with both practical organisational skills and a people-person who
enjoys connecting with others. Someone with passion and compassion.  
Due to the nature of this position we will require a DBS check to be carried out.
