SOUTHAMPTON HOUSE OF PRAYER (SoHOP)
The regular weekly prayer will take place from 9 p.m. Friday till 9 p.m. Saturday, from January 4th, in the sacred space situated in 286 Burgess Rd. PRAYING FOR THE HOMELESS IN SOUTHAMPTON / TUESDAY 22 JANUARY / 7.30PM / LIGHTHOUSE CHURCH, ST MARYS ROAD, SOUTHAMPTON, S014 0BB
Open to everyone, come along and pray for the homeless in the city, starting at 7.30pm at Lighthouse Church in St Marys.
NEW LEVEL 1 PROPHETIC COURSE STARTING JANUARY 2019
Mark Iles is running a School for Prophecy level 1 course "Developing Your Prophetic Gift" at Kings Community Church, Hedge End, starting on Monday 28th January 2019. The school will run monthly on Monday evenings over nine sessions in 2019. Everyone is welcome and no prior experience is required.

FEBRUARY ONWARDS...
CARING FOR THE BEREAVED WORKSHOP / SATURDAY 23 FEBRUARY / 10.00AM-4.00PM / CENTRAL HALL, ST MARY STREET
The workshop will help anyone who finds themselves supporting bereaved people, whether that is as a leader, pastoral worker, friend, neighbour or colleague. It is not suitable for those who have had a recent bereavement themselves or who are professional counsellors.
The course runs on Saturday 23rd February from 10am to 4pm at Central Hall, St Mary Street, Southampton SO14 1NF and costs £35.

BIBLE COURSE
A notice for church leaders: are you concerned about how little some of your people engage with the Bible? If so, the Bible Course, provided by Bible Society would be good. It is an 8-week course that works best in small groups. Those who have completed it say it is ideal for new believers right through to mature Christians. If you want to know more please contact Chris Hardwick (chris50.hardwick@btopenworld.com), who can give more information or provide you with a sample manual and DVD.
MIRACLE STREET
Steve Lee has presented the BIG STORY of Jesus Christ across the UK, Europe and in other parts of the world, full-time, since 1987. 
Over the decades, he has trained others, created projects and initiatives and raised up several generations of the Miracle Street team. In what is now his fourth decade, Steve's entire focus is on proclaiming this BIG STORY Indoors, Outdoors and Online.

FRIENDS INTERNATIONAL SOUTHAMPTON AND WINCHESTER STAFF WORKER VACANCY
Friends International Southampton and Winchester is looking for a Staff Worker to join the team (at least 2 ½ days a week up to full time depending on personal support) and fulfil a vital role in helping and equipping churches in Southampton and Winchester to engage in international student ministry. This will involve working with the Centre Team Leader, Apprentice Staff Worker and volunteers to develop the ministry further. Personal evangelism and discipleship with international students will be a key component of the work, as you seek to provide a model for others. Closing date: 09.00 on Monday 4th February 2019

SCM Basics Bank are in urgent need of volunteers on several days at the moment:
- At the food Basics Bank venue on a Monday hosted by Above Bar Church
- At the clothes Basics Bank venue on a Wednesday hosted by Ascension Church
- At the food Basics Bank venue on a Thursday hosted by Citylife Church
- With our warehouse sorting team on a Thursday in Millbrook

Safe Families for Children is a Christian charity that partners with local churches to provide support to families who are struggling or in a crisis. Volunteers are trained and equipped to offer support to families either through hosting children, befriending or providing resources. Safe Families has funding in place to work with Southampton City Council over the next 3 years, and there is lots of opportunities to get involved.
