1. Describe briefly when and how you were converted to Christ.

I was brought up by Christian parents. My first remembrance of professing faith was at age 11, in 1969, at a Dick Saunders rally in Bedford. I was baptised at that time but there followed a long period of backsliding during my mid teens to early twenties. I was drawn back to Christ in the early 1980’s by the influence of evangelist David Fortune, the consistent holy life of my brother David Harding and the powerful preaching of Stanley Jebb. By 1983 God had brought me to full assurance of faith and to a fullness of peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.

2. How do you seek to foster your relationship with God?

There are no shortcuts to a relationship with God (or anyone else for that matter). His means of grace for growing in relationship with him are simple: Private devotional times in the Word and in prayer and praise, Public devotional times (family worship and church worship) in the Word and in prayer and praise, A daily dependence on the Holy Spirit to live out a life of worship in all that I do.
