SOUTHAMPTON STREET PASTORS NEED YOUR HELP
Due to demand we need more Street Pastors and Prayer Pastors - can you help with filling our training places for 15th September?
We are excited to announce that the next round of training starts Friday evening, 15th September. We are looking for volunteers to pray or go out on patrol at night time, at schools in the day, and in the community during the evening.
Our volunteers say it builds their faith when they have so many encounters on the streets and can be there to help people in the moment when they need it most.
Not only have we been helping people in many practical ways but it is becoming more and more apparent that people are open to God and are willing to hear who He is and how much He loves them. From the beginning of this year there have been 33 occasions when Street Pastors prayed with people on the street along with 24 answers to prayer. Nearly 20 bibles have been handed out during the same period along with 4 individuals being signposted towards Alpha.
If you have any queries or would like a presentation in your church then please do not hesitate to get in touch with us at the office on 023 8033 3387 or by email and we would be happy to help, office@southamptonstreetpastors.org

RECOVERY ADDICTION PROGRAMME / VICTORY CENTRE, PORTSWOOD
This full-time structured addiction recovery programme runs Monday to Friday at The Victory Centre, Portswood.
It is for men and women with any addiction who are at a point in their recovery journey where they seriously want to be free and to live a new life free from addiction.  They access the course daily whilst living in their own accommodation.  This enables their family to receive support while they go through recovery and for ongoing support once the course has finished.  It also enables any daily issues which arise through their social networks, lack of life skills or money management to be dealt with as they arise and worked through in a supportive environment.
Anyone interested should contact Dawn the Living-Recovery Manager on: 07736167600
